Note that the B-RAD Base component is required and sold separately. Compatibility-wise, it needs a B-RAD mounting base and works with any bike frame having 2 standard 64mm spacing bottle cage mounts, which is common in most modern frames. Using the Wolf Tooth B - rad Double Bottle Adapter is easy. First, make sure you have the B - RAD Base component, as it's required for the adapter to work. Attach the B - RAD Base to the existing bottle cage mounts on your bike. Then, attach the Double Bottle Adapter to the B - RAD Base. Once installed, you can place your two bottle cages side by side on the adapter. When using the adapter, be careful not to overload it beyond its maximum load of 1700g. For maintenance, keep the adapter clean. You can use a mild soap and water to clean the 6061 - T6 aluminum brackets. Check the hardware regularly to make sure it's tightened properly with the T25 Torx tool, using a torque of 3 - 4 Nm. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, replace the parts as needed. Also, when storing your bike, make sure the bottles are removed from the cages to prevent any unnecessary stress on the adapter.
