Introducing a ground-up redesigned tuning chip for your e-bike with a Shimano motor. It features a brand - new design, along with completely new hardware and firmware.
The SpeedBox 1.3 tuning chip can suppress the speed limiter on your electric bike. When you use it, your display will show the actual speed up to 23 km/h.
If you want to see the correct speed and all riding data while riding, we suggest choosing SpeedBox 1.3 B.Tuning for Shimano. You can view the real values right on your phone's display using our SpeedBox App.
Compared to previous versions, this new product can be plugged into the engine's E-Tube port. So, your e-bike motor must have a free E-Tube port to install the new SpeedBox for Shimano. If your motor doesn't have a free E-Tube port, select the “+E-Tube Port” variant.
E-bikes without a free E-Tube port usually have a Di2 electronic gear shifting system or a tube - integrated Satellite System ON/OFF Switch (EW - SW100, EW - SW300).
How does SpeedBox 1.3 work?
If the lights are off, SpeedBox is activated. You can deactivate the chip by turning on the lights. If you want to use the tuning regardless of the lights, don't connect the red wire during installation, and the tuning will be always on. If your e-bike doesn't have lights, SpeedBox 1.3 will be active all the time.
Assembly
We use original connectors to make SpeedBox chips. This ensures a simple installation process and proper connection. We've also prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation a breeze. Disassembling the tuning chip is just as easy. If you face any issues, feel free to contact us.
If you're installing SpeedBox on a brand - new bike, ride it for at least 1 km before activating the chip.
