The Rack N Roll eBike Carrier is specifically designed for heavy 60kg bikes such as Stealth Bombers, UBCO, and Sur - Ron. Even if you own a $10k MTB and want it safe during transit, this carrier is perfect for you. It offers both single and double bike options. The single carrier can handle up to 100kg, while the double can manage 180kg. The 5mm thick aluminum bike channel, made of the same material as our Alloy MX Carrier, ensures durability. The main bar inserted into the tow bar is 50×5 Australian Tube Mills SHS, the same as our Motorcycle Carriers. There are double tie - down points, allowing you to use 2 straps on each side of each bike. The bike channel has an internal width of 125mm, suitable for 4″ and 5″ tyres, so make sure to check your tyre size. We also have 90mm internal width channels for narrower tyres. It's 1700mm long, with a 70mm nose cone. The double carrier weighs 26kg, which is justified by its 180kg rating. An LED kit with a number plate light is included. It comes with an anti - tilt bracket and shim plates to prevent movement in the receiver. Straps are used to secure the bikes, making them stable with no movement. Unlike carriers with arms that drop onto the frame or clamp onto tyres, straps make loading and unloading easier, with no need for disassembly and plenty of clearance. MX Tie Downs, available at any motorcycle store for $39 - $49 a pair, are recommended. By default, the bikes are 250mm centre - to - centre apart, but we can customize the spacing for wider bikes with racks.

Using the Rack N Roll eBike Carrier is easy. First, if you're using the double carrier, decide on the spacing between the bikes. You can keep the default 250mm centre - to - centre or ask us to customize it. Check your bike's tyre size to ensure it fits the 125mm internal width bike channel (we have 90mm channels for narrower tyres). Insert the main bar into the tow bar and use the anti - tilt bracket and shim plates to eliminate any movement in the receiver. Then, place your bike in the channel and use the double tie - down points. You can buy MX Tie Downs from a motorcycle store and use 2 straps on each side of the bike to secure it firmly. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the straps for wear and tear. Inspect the aluminum bike channel and the main bar for any signs of damage or corrosion. If you notice any issues, replace the parts as needed. Also, make sure the LED kit and number plate light are working properly. Before each use, give the carrier a quick visual check to ensure everything is in good condition. And remember, always follow the weight limits: 100kg for the single carrier and 180kg for the double carrier.
